Our team, was able to secure 4th and 5th place among several other teams and just a few points from the top 3 place!

The second edition of HackInFest concluded on November 8th at ITS Academy Apulia Digital, bringing together over 300 participants from across Italy. Teams tackled realistic urban security scenarios through the Urban Range, a simulated Mediterranean smart city environment.

HackInFest returns November 7-8 with a Capture The Flag competition themed around urban security. Participants will operate in a simulated Mediterranean smart city under attack. Prize pools of €2,500 for Senior and €1,200 for Junior categories.

We represented Italy in the world's largest cyber defense exercise, organized by NATO CCDCOE. As part of Blue Team 13—a joint Italian, Slovenian, and American squad—our specialists helped secure an impressive 3rd place finish.

In this Seminar our team discussed the evolving security lifecycle in modern digital-social scenarios through Android malware analysis and social engineering case studies.

Developed as part of a graduation thesis at the Department of Computer Science – UniBa, the new YARA extension for VolWeb is now open source and available on GitHub.
